Frequently asked questions
Learn what you can use in the browser today, how lessons present Nepali, and what an account adds.
Can I try NepaliGo without an account?
Yes. The lesson on the homepage teaches one greeting before it asks a question, and it does not require an account.
Can I learn in my browser now?
Yes. NepaliGo's web lessons work in a modern browser on phones, tablets, and computers. The planned mobile app is a separate future release.
Does NepaliGo teach Devanagari?
Yes. Lessons can show Nepali in Devanagari together with romanization and English, and the alphabet guide gives you a focused place to study the script.
How do pronunciation and context help?
Supported lessons include a listen control, and phrase guides explain when expressions are formal, familiar, or useful in everyday situations.
Where should a complete beginner start?
Start with the short homepage lesson, then follow the beginner path on Learn. It moves from recognizing a useful word to matching and building simple sentences.
What does a free account add?
An account lets NepaliGo keep your learning progress, XP, streak, and lesson history together so you can continue across visits.
Can I study phrases for real conversations?
Yes. The phrase guides cover greetings, gratitude, number basics, travel, and food, with Devanagari, romanization, meaning, and context.
Is there a NepaliGo mobile app?
A dedicated mobile app is planned but is not the product you need to wait for. The NepaliGo web platform is available to use now.
