Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your NepaliGo account at any time. This page explains exactly what is removed and the ways you can request deletion.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all of the following from our systems:

• Your account — your email address and the user record used to sign you in.
• Learning progress — quiz scores, lesson completions, XP, streaks, daily goals, and word mastery data.
• Push notification tokens — the device tokens used to send learning reminders.
• Sign-in sessions — any active sessions and linked authentication records.
• Newsletter subscription — if your email is on our newsletter or app waitlist, it is removed too.

Deletion is permanent

Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your learning progress and all associated data are gone and cannot be recovered. If you sign up again later, you start with a fresh account and no previous progress.

How to delete your account

There are three ways to delete your account:

1. In the app — open the NepaliGo mobile app, go to Profile → Delete Account, and confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away.
2. By email — email us at hello@nepaligo.com from, or including, the email address tied to your account, and ask us to delete it. We will remove your account and all data described above.
3. From the web — if you are signed in to NepaliGo on the web with the same account, you can also request deletion from your account; if you are unsure, the email option above always works.
